As "Bombgate" keeps blowing up in John Kerry's face - damn those incompetent liars at the NY Times! If only they'd waited for Sunday and 60 Minutes, there wouldn't have been time to catch the lies before Kerry was elected! - here's a nice summation of how Kerry proves himself the feckless crapweasel he is by running ads based on false news stories that his own people can't verify as true. The punchline:
It also now turns out that CBS 60 Minutes was planning to echo the New York Times story two days before Election Day. So what we have is an attempt by the New York Times, CBS, and a U.N. agency to work together to promote a very likely false story to damage President Bush's reelection prospects. Perhaps no one should be surprised that the liberal media and the United Nations are willing to go to quite extraordinary lengths to promote Kerry's prospects against Bush, but their behavior is not the issue. The issue is Kerry's willingness to advance allegations that his own campaign acknowledges may not be true.
To all you people who believe that it can't get any worse than Dubya: Are you so sure of that? Is this the way you want to win - by using bald-faced LIES?
BTW: We're talking about 380 tons missing when we've captured and/or destroyed 400,000+ tons of ordinance so far. (Iraq is like one huge ammo dump. Wonder why Michael Moore neglected to show that in his little propaganda film?) If the cops raided an underage drinking party and confiscated 44 cases of beer and then it's revealed that a SINGLE CAN of beer may've disappeared before the raid and a politician came along demanding that he be the mayor because of it, would you actually laugh out loud at him or just roll your eyes?
