Dirk's Gulag?

The air-conditioner in the apartment died and we had a couple of sticky nights in which it got up to 85 degrees indoors while temps were in the mid-70s outside. Fans didn't help much either and showering meant never getting totally dry. It was a drag, but the new unit came in yesterday and things are alright now.

What I'm wondering is why Dick "Turban" Durbin didn't take to the floor of the Senate, look into the camera and accuse the management company of being like Nazis, etc.? Where was the concern for my comfort?

Could it be that since I'm not seeking to join the Democratic Jihad against America, my welfare doesn't concern him?
