The Left is so up their own bungholes with snobbish rage, they don't even have the self-awareness that would prevent them from commiting stupid gaffes that only serve to reveal their true America-hating hearts. The latest clueless act: Obama is going to go to Geneva, Switzerland to attend a fundraiser hosted by George Clooney.

Academy award winning actor George Clooney is set to host a fundraiser for Barack Obama in Switzerland next month.

The event, taking place on the evening of September 2 in Geneva, Switzerland will be split into two parts: a reception and a dinner. According to Obama’s National Finance Committee, tickets for the reception where Clooney will speak are going for $1,000, followed by a dinner at the home of NFC member Charles Adams for $10,000 a plate. Space for the dinner is limited to 75 guests.

Clooney made headlines in February when he told CNN he was hesitant to campaign for the presumptive Democratic nominee, calling it a ‘slippery slope.’

“I feel that at times you can harm the person that you are trying to help,” Clooney told CNN’s Kiran Chetry in reference to campaigning for Obama. “I don’t want to damage anybody.”

Guess he got over his Hippocratic oath from "ER".

That Obama is choosing to chin it up with the Left Coast elites isn't the problem - it's not as if the Stupid Party's candidates don't cuddle up to their own monied bases - it's the choice of location for this shindig that bespeaks a tone-deafness as to how this will appear. To wit: WASN'T THERE ANYPLACE IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA THAT THIS PARTY COULD BE HELD?!?!?!?

Just as Hillary! had to outsource her theme song to Canada, Obama and Clooney can't find a suitable American spot to hold this party? Is Aspen, Hawaii (where BO grew up), Montana, NYC, LA, Oprah's place in Chicago, ANYWHERE not good enough for an American movie star to host a party for a guy who wants to be President of the United States?!?
